Donna closed her eyes and let her head rest on the wall behind her. She might as well rest her eyes. The metal insides of the moving box she was in wasn't the most stimulating scenery, and it moved slower than a slug. Okay. Fine. It wasn't really a box. But even the roomy insides of a UN Spacy utility elevator on wheels felt overstuffed when one short woman and two above average sized military police guys stood at opposite sides of the car. Tension filled the space that her annoyance or their shoulders didn't take up. Though, the box was better than a cell. It looked like a cell, but it wasn't one. It was some twenty-five minutes earlier when the two MPs had picked Donna up. She had just been walking out from the infirmary, a big bandage covering a stitched up cut on her forehead, multiple minor scratches and bruises covering the rest of her, sore to the bone, a bottle of serious painkillers in a pocket, and the darkest circles ever under her eyes.
